Abstract
Palielinoties perifērajam skatīšanās virzienam, samazinās redzes asums, un to ietekmē cilvēka faktors, lēcas dizains, ietvara izmērs. Briļļu lēcu perifērijā esošo optisko parametru izmaiņas lielums nekorelē ar redzes asuma samazināšanos, mainot skata virzienu.
The thesis is written in Latvian on 29 pages. It contains 30 figures, 1 table, 1 appendices, and 23 references. The aim of this work is to evaluate how distortion of spectacle lenses in periphery affects vision in of small and big frames. The spectacle lenses were measured on a dioptometer and an aberometer in center of lens and in periphery of lens. According to prescription parameters, different sizes of frames were made for 2 participants. As a result, the lenses used differed in both the index and aspherical design. The work failed to find a relationship between changes in visual acuity and lens parameters. Peripheral view increases, visual acuity decreases because many parameters affects it, like human factor, lens design, frame size. The size of the optical distortion in the periphery of the lens does not correlate with decrease in visual acuity by change of view.
