Abstract
Alena Ginsberga poēma Kauciens ir viens no nozīmīgākajiem 20. gs. literārajiem darbiem. Pētījumā izvirzītie mērķi – izpētīt misticisma iezīmes poēmā Kauciens un identificēt reliģisko sinkrētismu tajā. Uzdevumos ietilpst misticisma definēšana darba tēmas ietvaros, Ginsberga ieskatu apskatīšana bīta paaudzes kontekstā, kā arī poēmas Kauciens analīze. Rezultātā tiek raksturots mūsdienās sastopams misticisms, kur dzejnieks darbojas kā mistiķis, kas komunicē savu pieredzi. Darbs ir unikāls poēmas Kauciens pētniecībā. Darba pamata metode ir kontentanalīze, ar kuras palīdzību tiek analizēta poēma Kauciens. Pētījuma gaitā apstiprināta darbā izvirzītā tēze – bīta paaudzes spilgtākā dzejnieka Alena Ginsberga poēmā Kauciens atspoguļojas reliģiski sinkrētisks misticisms.
Allen Ginsberg’s poem Howl is one of the most important literary works of the 20th century. The aim of thesis Mysticism of the Beat Generation: Allen Ginsberg’s “Howl” – to analyze the influence of mysticism and to identify religious syncretism in poem Howl. Main goals of the thesis – to define mysticism within presented theme, to integrate Ginsberg’s views within larger context of the Beat Generation and to analyze poem Howl. As a result a characterization of nowaday mysticism is possible – poet functions as a mystic who communicates his experience. Thesis is unique whithin poem’s Howl research field. Main research method is content analysis, which is used to analyze poem. During research the main thesis has been confirmed – in poem Howl Beat Generation’s most influential poet Allen Ginsberg reflects upon religiously syncretic mysticism.
