Abstract
Darbā pētīta aktieru sistēma, viens no mākoņskaitļošanas modeļiem, un pielāgota būtiski mazākai sistēmai - matricas procesoram. Mazo aktieru modelis izveidots, lai uzlabotu programmu ātrdarbību, salīdzinot ar paralēlo izpildi, kas izmanto pavedienus. Izstrādātas metodes programmu veidošanai šim modelim. Mazo aktieru modelī realizēts Erastotena sieta algoritms, un veikti ātrdarbības mērījumi šī algoritma simulācijai. Simulators izstrādāts programmēšanas valodā Scala.
This thesis examines actor system, a cloud-computing model, and adapts it for a significantly smaller system - a grid processor in order to increase performance compared to thread-based concurrency. This resulted in creation of the mini-actor model. Development methods for this model are described. The sieve of Eratosthenes is created using these methods and its performance is measured in simulation. The simulator is developed using the Scala programming language.
