Abstract
Starptautisko konferenci “Jauno vēsturnieku zinātniskie lasījumi VII” rīko Latvijas Universitātes Latvijas vēstures institūts un Valmieras muzejs, sadarbībā ar Vītauta Dižā Universitāti Kauņā, Lietuvas Vēstures institūtu un Tartu universitātes Vēstures un arheoloģijas institūtu. Konferencē jau septīto gadu piedalās jaunie pētnieki, kuru interešu loks aptver ar vēsturi saistītas tēmas visplašākajos kontekstos. Šogad lasījumiem pieteikti 28 referāti, kuri pamatā aplūko dažādus vēstures aspektus no 15. līdz 20. gadsimtam. Referātu autori pārstāv Latvijas Universitāti, Tartu Universitāti, Vītauta Dižā Universitāti, Latvijas Mākslas akadēmiju, Daugavpils Universitāti, Jāzepa Vītola Latvijas Mūzikas akadēmiju, Tallinas Universitāti. Konference tiek organizēta un šis tēžu krājums sagatavots VPP “Latvijas mantojums un nākotnes izaicinājumi valsts ilgtspējai”, projekta Nr. VPP-IZM-2018/1-0018 “Indivīda, sabiedrības un valsts mijiedarbība kopējā Latvijas vēstures procesā: vērtību konflikti un kopīgu vērtību veidošanās vēsturisku lūzumu posmos” ietvaros, sniedzot iespēju jaunajiem pētniekiem gūt pieredzējušu vēsturnieku ieteikumus un atbalstu.
“The Scholarly Readings of Young Historians VII” are organised by the Institute of Latvian History of the University of Latvia and Valmiera Museum, in co-operation with Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, the Lithuanian History Institute and the Institute of History and Archaeology of Tartu University. For the seventh year young researchers, whose reports involve topics related to the history in the broadest possible contexts, are taking part in the conference. This year, 28 reports have been submitted, mainly focusing at various aspects of history from the 15th to the 20th century. The authors represent the University of Latvia, the University of Tartu, Vytautas Magnus University, the Art Academy of Latvia, the Daugavpils University, the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, the Tallinn University. The conference is organised and this collection of abstracts is prepared in the framework of the State Research Programme “Latvian Heritage and Future Challenges for the Country’s Sustainability”, project No. VPP-IZM-2018/1-0018 “Interaction between the individual, the society, and the state in process of the history of Latvia: conflicting values and formation of shared values during historical turning points”, thus providing young reasearchers the opportunity to get advice and support from experienced colleagues.
