Abstract
Author in this work inquires current state of how supported is Livonian (or Liv) language in modern, information and technology driven world. To this day supply of such support tools is limited or, in cases, non-existent. Covered here are input methods, font support, spell checking, electronic dictionary, text digitalization and semi-automated translation. This work is intended to serve as a launchpad and somewhat basic guidance for further expansion of language support and deeper research of any particular part of this work if necessary. In some parts author barely scratches the surface of subject. Results show that some of the basic tools are available, some effort is made by author and other parties, but much of the work is yet to be done. Also, author sees no substantial obstacles, for day to come, when all these ideas are implemented.
