Abstract
Pētījuma rezultātā konstatēts, ka žurnāls “Ir” paudis konsekventu atbalstu divām konkrētām partijām, it īpaši vienai, bet asi vērsies pret trīs partijām.
In the bachelor work “Mass media attitude against political parties: the case of magazine “Ir”” media’s attitude towards certain political parties is evaluated. To determine magazine’s political orientation the main research material is chosen to be column and news articles section in the magazine “Ir”, because it directly reflects the support or assault towards parties. The study aims to determine, whether in the content of the magazine visible political sympathies or antipathies are identifiable, and clarify editorial attitudes towards political forces altogether. The research problem – if it is even possible to identify the media attitude towards any political forces. Retrospective content analysis is chosen to be main method of the research. Results shows the magazines “Ir” has expressed continuous support to two specific parties, especially one, but turned sharply against three parties.
