Abstract
Maģistra darba „Skolas bibliotekāra loma izglītības programmas īstenošanā (Starptautiskā Bakalaurāta vispārējās izglītības 1. posms)” rezultātā ir izveidots skolas bibliotekāra darba plāns, kas palīdz skolas bibliotekāram iekļauties skolas pedagoģiskajā programmā un īstenot izglītības programmas mērķus. Maģistra darbā raksturotas mūsdienu skolas bibliotekāra darbības jomas, noteiktas bibliotekārā darba prioritātes, kas nepieciešamas, lai veidotu dinamisku skolas bibliotēkas programmu. Maģistra darbs sniedz ieskatu IB PYP izglītības programmas pamatnostādnēs un analizē bibliotekāro darbu skolā, kura strādā pēc šīs programmas. Maģistra darba praktiskajā pētījumā analizēta skolu bibliotekāru loma IB PYP skolās, kā arī apkopoti un analizēti starptautiskas aptaujas rezultāti.
The result of the master’s thesis „The role of the school librarian in the implementation of the educational program (International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme)” is a plan for the school librarian in order to help the librarian to participate in the educational process of the school and implement the goals of the educational program. The Master’s thesis also describes the various areas of a school librarian’s job, sets the priorities of the library work needed for a dynamic school library program. Thesis introduces IB PYP theoretical approaches and discusses the functions of a IB PYP school library. The practical research part of the thesis analizes the role of the IB PYP school librarians internationally. Results of the international survey are summarized and analyzed.
