Abstract
Bakalaura darba „“Twitter.com” izmantojums valsts pārvaldes komunikācijā: Latvijas Republikas ministriju un Valsts kancelejas prakses analīze” mērķis ir veikt sociālā medija twitter.com prakses analīzi Latvijas Republikas ministriju un Valsts kancelejas komunikācijā, lai noskaidrotu Latvijas Republikas ministriju un Valsts kancelejas vērtējumu ikdienas komunikācijai twitter.com ar sabiedrību un kāda veida komunikācija tiek nodrošināta.
Darba teorētiskajā daļā tiek apkopotas teorētiskās izpratnes par sociālajiem medijiem, to nozīmību un nepieciešamību mūsdienās, par teorētisko pamatu izmantojot Gruniga un Hanta (Grunig&Hunt) četru sabiedrisko attiecību modeļus un paradigmas. Valsts pārvaldes komunikācijas teorētiskās pieejas aprakstītas informācijas vides un komunikācijas tehnoloģiju attīstības kontekstā. Pētījums tika veikts, izmantojot anketēšanu, daļēji strukturēto interviju un kontentanalīzi.
Bakalaura darbam ir praktiska nozīme sociālā medija twitter.com izmantojuma izpētē un analīzē Latvijas Republikas ministriju un Valsts kancelejas komunikācijā. Darbs akcentē twitter.com nozīmīgumu informācijas nodošanā, kā arī divvirzienu komunikācijas īstenošanā.

Aim of the Bachelor Thesis “Use of “Twitter.com” in communication of public administration: practices in Ministries of Republic of Latvia and State Chancellery” is to run an analysis observed, gathered through daily approach in using social network twitter.com in Ministries of Republic of Latvia and State Chancellery as their communication tool. The issue is to determine how Ministries of Republic of Latvia and State Chancellery evaluate daily communication with public in twitter.com and to define the type of communication assured. In the theoretical part the author has reflected on the theory about social networks, importance and necessity of them in nowadays life according to Grunig and Hunt’s four models of public relations. Theoretical approaches of communication in State Administration are displayed referring to the development of information and communication technologies. The research is done including three elements: a survey, semi-structured interview, and a content analysis. The Bachelor Thesis carries practical meaning and importance within Ministries of Republic of Latvia and State Chancellery in exploring recent usage of social media twitter.com as their communication tool. Within the Paper author emphasizes social network twitter.com as an essential instrument in spreading the information as well as sustaining two-way communication with audience.
