Abstract
“Nodarbināto iesaiste darba vides pilnveidē Latvijas Universitātē”. Darba autors: Emīls Mārtiņš Riekstiņš. Darba zinātniskā vadītāja: lektore mg.sc., mg oec., Iveta Daugule. Darbs izklāstīts uz 45 lpp., ietver 13 attēlus, 4 tabulas, 4 pielikumi, 25 izmantotos literatūras avotus. Pētījums sastāv no trīs daļām.
“Employee involvement in improving the working environment at the University of Latvia” Scientific supervisor: lecturer mg.sc., mg oec., Iveta Daugule. Author of the work: Emīls Mārtiņš Riekstiņš. The thesis is presented on 45 pages, includes 13 figures, 4 tables, 4 annexes, 25 references. The study consists of three parts. The first part summarizes the analysis of the literature on the involvement of employees in labor protection processes, as well as the typical risks of the work environment in biological laboratories. The second part describes the methods used in the study, and the third part analyzes the results of the questionnaires, the root cause analysis, and the risk assessment of the working environment in the biology laboratory. It was found that information related to labor protection is not easily accessible to employees on the basis that employees do not know or do not want to know it. In the analysis of the root causes, it was found that the root cause is the employee, where this cause can be most effectively influenced by training and the availability of its information. During the risk assessment in the biology laboratory, problems related to the investigated problem were identified, as well as other problems. The 5S method could be used as a solution to the problems. To increase the employee's full involvement, several proposals were made. Methods used: Finnish 5-balls method, Austrian method for chemical risk assessment, root-cause analysis and questionnaire.
