Abstract
Bakalaura darbs ir veltīts Babadži kustībai Indijā un Austrumeiropā. Darba galvenais uzdevums ir kvalificēt šo kustību un analizēt tās doktrīnas un kultu. Mūsdienu globalizācijas kontekstā Babadži kustība reprezentē tā saukto neo-hinduismu, apvienojot kristīgās kultūras, evolūcijas un hinduisma idejas.
Darbs sastāv no divām daļām. Pirmā daļa izklāsta kustības vēsturisko attīstību universālā hinduisma kontekstā. Otrā daļa ir veltīta kustības doktrīnai un kultam.
The bachelor paper is dedicated to Babaji movement in India and Eastern Europe. The main taste of the paper is to qualify the movement and to analyse its doctrine and cult. In the modern situation of globalization Babaji movement represents the so called neo-hinduism combining the ideas of Judeo-Christian culture, evolution and Hinduism. The paper consists of two parts. The first one covers the historical development of the movement in the context of the universal Hinduism. The second part is dedicated to the doctrine and cult.
