Abstract
The bachelor’s thesis deals with theological environmental ethics of Jürgen Moltmann and secular environmental ethics with the purpose of finding commonalities between these two approaches. The aim of the thesis is to confirm that a dialogue is not only possible but also can contribute to the communication between the secular and theological environmental ethics, thus contributing to a favourable attitude towards the environment. The thesis reveals Jürgen Moltmann's approach to theological environmental ethics and the historical development of secular environmental ethics in the Western society. The final part analyzes the possibility of a dialogue between the two approaches.
