Filips Adamenko (2008) Devona Stipinu svītas dolomīti un to izmantošanas iespējas. Maģistra darbs.
Maģistra darba galvenais mērķis ir ar lauka un laboratorijas metožu palīdzību raksturot Stipinu svītas dolomītus Iecavas (Akmenscūciņu) un Gulbju atradnēs. Darbā dokumentēti dolomītu slāņkopas ģeoloģiskie griezumi, veikti dolomītu plaisainības mērījumi, dolomīti no izdalītajiem slāņiem pētīti makroparaugos un plānslīpējumos. Darba rezultātā Iecavas atradnē tika izdalīti 6 atšķirīgas uzbūves dolomīta slāņi, bet Gulbju atradnē – 7. Šie slāņi ir savstarpēji korelējami. Darba ir raksturots tas, kā izdalītie dolomītu paveidi paradās gatavajā produkcijā – šķembās, kā arī ir sniegta informācija par dolomītu mehāniskas stiprības rādītājiem un monolītu lielumiem. Secināts, ka lielākie dolomītu monolīti, kurus būtu iespējams izmantot apdares plātņu un būvakmeņu ražošanā, ir divos slāņos Gulbju atradnē un divos slāņos Iecavas (Akmenscūciņu) atradnē. Dota arī ierosinājums šķembu kvalitātes uzlabošanai.

Filips Adamenko (2008) Dolostones of the Devonian Stipinai Formation and their usage possibilities. Master’s Paper. The main aim of the Master’s Paper is to characterise dolostones of the Stipinai Formation by field and laboratory methods in the Iecava (Akmenscūciņas) and Gulbji deposits. There are documented geological sections of the dolostones, measured fractures of dolostones, and dolostones from selected layers were studied in macro-samples and thin-sections. As a result of the Master’s Paper work were divided 6 different dolostone layers of various structure in Iecava deposit and 7 different dolostone layers in Gulbji deposit. These layers can be correlated. Representation of divided dolostones in production of quarry – crushed stone, has been characterised, and also mechanical strength and size of separate blocks has been discussed. It is concluded that the largest blocks to be used as facing slabs and building stones production are present in two layers in the Gulbji deposit and also two layers in the Iecava (Akmenscūciņas) deposit.
