Abstract
Bakalaura darbā izklāstīti gadskārtu mērījumu rezultāti vienam 45 gadus vecam baltalkšņa (Alnus incana) paraugeksemplāram, kas iegūts baltalkšņu audzē ierīkotā pētījumu parauglaukumā, izmantojot paraugeksemplāra fotoattēlu uz datora ekrāna. Aplūkotas biomasas akumulācijas dinamiku raksturojošas likumības un dots baltalkšņa augšanas gaitas raksturojums pēc literatūras avotiem. Iegūtie mērījumi salīdzināti ar literatūrā pieejamiem biomasas pieauguma analītiskajiem modeļiem un publicētiem empīriskiem baltalkšņa datiem. Mērījumu un to apstrādes rezultātā iegūta viena paraugkoka biomasas pieauguma attīstības dinamika. No viena paraugkoka iegūtie ikgadējie biomasas pieaugumi ir statistiski izkliedēti, tāpēc, lai aprakstītu konkrētas audzes biomasas pieauguma gaitu, nepieciešams veikt mērījumus vairākiem audzes paraugkokiem.

The BS paper reports results of measured radiuses of annual rings of a 45 year old sample tree of grey alder (Alnus incana) cut for the purpose in an experimental plot. The measurements made on digital image of the cross-section of stem at standard height are presented on plots of annual increments of the cross-section area and biomass as functions of age and compared with available data for grey alder stands and analytical growth models. Compared with averaged empirical data of grey alder stands the values of annual increments of biomass of a single tree are statistically more scattered. Smoother and more regular growth diagrams are obtained taking the values averaged over several years. The overall pattern of the rate of growth obtained for the particular sample-tree is consistent with that of expected for stands, the correlation with Richards equation being poor though. Keywords: grey alder, biomass, growth dynamics, analytical models.
