Abstract
Darbs 1.septembra rituāls un izglītības reforma latviešu un krievu dienas presē Latvijā (2004., 2005., 2006. g.) veikts, izmantojot kontentanalīzi kā pētniecības metodi analizējot laikrakstus laika posmā no 2004. gada līdz 2006. gadam katrā gadā analizējot laikrakstus aptuveni divas nedēļas pirms un divas nedēļas pēc 1. septembra. Tas ir salīdzinošs pētījums, kurā tiek analizēta informācijas pasniegšana divās informācijas telpās – latviešu un krievu presē. Tāpat tika veiktas daļēji strukturētas ekspertu intervijas ar izglītības jautājumu speciālistiem. Pētījumi veikti Izglītības likumā 2004. gada 27. februārī noteiktās bilingvālās skolu reformas kontekstā.
Darbā apskatīta šīs reformas un tās seku nozīme un cēloņi, apskatīts izglītības jautājumu atspoguļojums presē, apkopoti dati, kuri iegūti kontentanalīzes rezultātā, kā arī izdarīti secinājumi par izglītības jautājumu atspoguļošanas tendencēm, par kopīgo un atšķirīgo latviešu un krievu presē publicētajā.
Tāpat teorētiskajā daļā autore ir apskatījusi šādas galvenās tēmas: Krievvalodīgās minoritātes Latvijā, rituālu un mediju loma socializācijas procesā, izglītības likumu attīstība no tiesiskā un politiskā viedokļa, semiotiskie kodi un rāmējumi laikrakstā.
Darbs noderīgs turpmākajos pētījumos, kas saistīti ar minoritātēm Latvijā, kā arī ar latviešu un krievu informācijas telpām Latvijā.

Bachelor’s paper The ritual on 1st September and the reform of education in The Latvian and The Russian Language Press in Latvia (year 2004,2005, 2006) done by using a content analysis of newspapers that were published between year 2004 to year 2006 in period two weeks before and after 1st September as research method. It is a comparative research for information present in two information spaces – the Latvian and the Russian language press. Partially structured expert interviews with educational specialists were carried out. Research was carried out in the context of bi-lingual school reform stipulated by Education Law amendments of 27 February 2004. The paper analyses causes and significance of consequences of this reform, education problems displaying in the press, summarize dates obtained by using a content analysis and shows an authors conclusions on education problems publishing tendency, common and various in Latvian and Russian press published information. In theoretical part an author overviews such general themes: Russian speaking minority in Latvia, rituals and media part in socialization process, Education Law evolution on legal and political position, semiotic cods and framing in newspapers. The paper would be useful in future researches related to minorities in Latvia and Latvian and Russian information areas in Latvia. Key Words: school reform, education, two information spaces.
