The Parliament discusses various aspects of life the technology might have an impact on and, in particular, on the aspect of liability. The thesis will mainly focus on the assessment of current general, reversed-burden and strict liability regimes in their application to scenarios when the damage is caused by the AI. Further, the thesis will assess the effectiveness of the European Product Liability Directive that establishes the strict liability regime for damages caused by defective goods in Europe.
