Abstract
The theme of the Bachelor Thesis is “Occurence of xenophobia for anesthesia, intensive and emergency care basis speciality working nurses”. The actuality of this theme is defined by: wide migration processes, with the following ethnic structure, religious and cultural mixing; rising the level of medical tourism; poor integration of society and deficiency of tolerance in foreigner patient care. The aim of this thesis is to establish the occuerence of xenophobia among nurses that practice in anesthesia, intensive and emergency care specialities. Thesis hypothesis is: The occuerence of xenophobia for anesthesia, intensive and emergency care basis working nurses is lower in nurses with higher education than it is in nurses with lower education levels. The tool for collecting the data is a questionnaire. Quantative data collecotion method was used in this research The research shows that the occuerence of xenophobia among anesthesia, intensive and emergency care basis speciality working nurses is slightly above the average index. The hypothesis of this bachelor thesis is confirmed – there is a significant correlation between nurses’ education level and the level of xenophobia.
