Abstract
Maģistra darbā “Daiļliteratūra sieviešu žurnālos no 1926. līdz 1939. gadam” pētīta divos 20. gs. 20., 30. gadu Latvijā populārākajos sieviešu žurnālos – “Zeltene” un “Sievietes Pasaule” – iespiestā daiļliteratūra un tajā iekļautā sievietes tēla reprezentācija. Sievietes tēls aplūkots caur šī laika perioda kultūrkontekta prizmu. No vienas puses vērojama aktīvāka darbība sieviešu emancipācijas jautājumos, no otras – K. Ulmaņa autoritārā režīma ideoloģijas ietekme uz sieviešu izaugsmes iespējām. Žurnālos iespiestajos literārajos darbos dominē sievietes loma privātajā sfērā – sieviete patriarhālā sabiedrībā kā perfekta sieva un mīloša māte. Vērojama negatīvāka attieksme pret sieviešu centieniem iesaistīties darba tirgū, politikā.
The master thesis “Fiction in women’s magazines published from 1926 to 1939” is the study of the fiction and the respective representation of women in two of the most popular women’s magazines in the twenties and thirties of the 20th century Latvia – “Zeltene” and “Sievietes Pasaule”. The image of women is looked at through the prism of the cultural context of the aforementioned time period. On one hand an active movement in support of women’s emancipation is observed, but on the other – the effects of the authoritarian regime ideals of K. Ulmanis on women’s growth opportunities. The printed fiction in the magazines is dominated by the themes of woman’s place in a patriarchal society as a perfect wife and a loving mother. There is a negative attitude towards women's efforts to enter the labour market and politics.
