Abstract
Our working hypothesis is – if Arabic character has changed in the perception of Spaniards after 11th of March 2004 terrorist attacks in Madrid and if it had, then in negative or positive way. In our work we set two main tasks: •to explore the definition of the image and stereotype, to view Arabic Spanish interactions historically, what was the Arab image in Spain before 2004, as well as gain a greater understanding of terrorist motives and take a brief look exactly in Islamic terrorism. •to find the main motives of 11th of March 2004 terrorist attacks, to follow the routine of assassination attempt, if it had left the effect in the society, as well as clarify if the image of Arab had changed in the perception of Spaniards. In the empirical part we developed research to confirm the theory in practice. We carried out a survey and gathered and analyzed obtained results, thus proving our hypothesis. Our work consists of 74 pages and can be divided into three major parts – the historical part, the routine of assassination attempt and research. Work consists of 14 chapters and 22 subsections, which are divided into 12 sections. Work is accompanied by 14 annexes and 55 sources of information.
