Abstract
Bakalaura darbā “Skaistuma koncepts Cicerona traktātā “De Oratore”” tiek apskatīti ētiskie un estētiskie uzstādījumi, lai iegūtu izpratni par kopējo skaistuma konceptu Cicerona traktātā. Tas tiek sasniegts, veicot 5 uzstādītos uzdevumus. Darba gaitā tiek secināts, ka galvenie ētiskā skaistuma uzstādījumi ir zināšanas un gudrība, šaubīšanās un argumentu izvēle, kā arī imitēšana jeb atdarināšanas māksla. Vienojošais ētiski estētiskais elements tiek noskaidrots kā valoda un tās izpausmes. Tiek secināts, ka estētisko uzstādījumu galvenie punkti ir asprātība un ķermeņa izpausmes balss, žestikulācijas un mīmikas veidā.

In Bachelor thesis “Concept of Beauty in Cicero's Treatise “De Oratore”” the ethical and aesthetical aspects are reviewed to form the concept of beauty in Cicero's treatise. The goal is achieved by accomplishing 5 objectives. While writing the paper it is concluded that the key points of the ethical beauty are: the knowledge and wisdom, uncertainty and the choice of arguments, as well as imitation or, in other words, the art of mimicry. It is found out that the language and its forms is the uniting element - both ethical and aesthetical. It is concluded that the main points of the aesthetic aspects are wit and body manifestation, such as voice, gestures and facial expressions.
